When painting flowers I feel that I’m in a constant state of happiness, exaltation and wonder. How diverse, how beautiful, how delicate these little works of art are! I’m not trying to recreate them, I’m just a mere copyist in front of an endless display of colorful combinations. I try to keep alive the fleeting memory of a tiny perfection created by nature.
